Automatic driving lessons in Dublin
Learning in an automatic removes the clutch from the equation, so you can concentrate on reading the road. Choose automatic when you book and only instructors with an automatic car will be offered.
No clutch, no stalling
Without gear changes to manage, your attention stays on observation, position and road signs from the first lesson.
Easier in Dublin traffic
Stop-start driving on the N3, the quays or through Blanchardstown is far less tiring when the car handles the gears.

Hill starts around Castleknock and Tallaght come down to smooth control of one pedal instead of clutch balance.
Same structure, same standard
EDT and pretest lessons run exactly as they do in a manual car, logged to the RSA under your learner permit.
What an automatic lesson costs
Automatic lessons are priced the same as manual: €110 for a two-hour lesson booked online, with EDT and pretest packages available at the same rates.
- All prices are fixed. Full payment is required at booking — no deposits.
- Evening and weekend lessons carry a €10 supplement per 2-hour session.
- Lessons can be rescheduled up to twice, with at least 48 hours notice.
Where we teach in an automatic
Widest automatic availability is in Dublin 15, Dublin 11, Dublin 24 / Tallaght. We also cover Dublin 1–24, Blanchardstown, Castleknock, Finglas, Mulhuddart, Tallaght, Clondalkin, with an approved meeting point offered where home pickup isn't practical.
